Canastas Chicken Hull street - Best Peruvian Rotisserie Chicken & Authentic Flavors in Chesterfield, VA

This is the spot—my new favorite for Peruvian-style rotisserie chicken. Their Pollo a la Brasa, a traditional Peruvian dish, is bursting with flavor thanks to its expertly marinated and slow-roasted preparation. It’s absolutely delicious—far more flavorful than its closest competitor. The fried rice was surprisingly outstanding—better than what I’ve had at some Chinese restaurants—and the green beans sautéed with sliced onions were simply incredible. Customer service was exceptional, and the menu is packed with tempting options I can’t wait to try, including the lamb chops and other mouthwatering dishes. The chicken is juicy and seasoned incredibly well. The fried rice is flavorful and the potatoes were delicious. Extra sauce on everything, please and thank you. We will definitely be going back!

This is hands-down the best Peruvian restaurant I've found in Richmond! Their lomo saltado, anticuchos, ceviche, and papa a la huancaína are absolutely outstanding. The prices are very reasonable, making it a fantastic spot for dining solo, with friends, or with family. The staff is incredibly attentive, friendly, and makes the experience even better!

I stopped by Canastas Chicken on Hull Street today and had such a great experience as always! It’s only their fourth day open, and they’re already off to a strong start. I got the lamb, shrimp, and salmon; everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The salmon had a crispy edge and the shrimp were seasoned just right. I even got to meet Gaby Jennifer and Jose, which made the visit even more special! It was also nice to see some familiar faces from the other location; it really gave it that warm, welcoming vibe. Food was absolutely delish!!! We had the lamb chops with mixed vegetables and fried rice. Fried chicken thighs. Cilantro chicken with rice and green beans. And tres leches!!

Amazing food with great service and atmosphere, Isaac was very helpful and called me papi when he dropped that chicken off. Would recommend to all of my friends and my mom.

I love Peruvian chicken being from Northern Virginia! So I was soo happy this place came to the Mosley area as we need more international foods around here. I’ve been a few times and the only reason I gave it a 4 and not 5 was because one time the food did not seem as hot or fresh. BUT I think the busier they get this will improve. Overall, the food I’ve had there has all been flavorful good and decent portions. I went most recently on Sunday and the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The cashier was sweet and personable (didn’t get her name) and I met Jose (not sure if mgr or owner) but he was very friendly too and at the end, personally came out to grab my tray. The chicken and sauces are good and they have lots of authentic Peruvian food options.The jalea fried fish platter is soo good, their ensalada criolla (red onion salad) is the best I’ve had anywhere and recently tried the papa la huancaina which was good too! Cilantro, green rice also yummy! Try them out!!
